WORKING WITH LOCAL ACTORS
There is so much Northern California has to offer in film, and like Southern California, that includes a pool of very talented actors. As an independent video and film production company, it's great to connect with individuals that are hard working and really love their craft.

When it comes to Video and Film Production we get to create art with some of the best local talent in the industry - from Craft Services to Cinematographers to Producers, there is never a shortage of amazing people to work and network with.

Meet The Team

Every member of our crew is a creative artist in their disciplines and committed to making  significant contributions to our industry.  Each one brings a unique set of skills and expertise to our projects and believes in the company motto "Learn, then pay it forward by creating art and opportunities for others." 

NJ
Brown (CEO)

Founder/Actor/Writer/Director/Producer
NJ Brown's a native Californian who considers himself a storyteller through acting, writing, and directing. After serving in the USAF and attending college, he took a break from his love of films, only to return years later more passionate than ever.  

NJ is a member of SAG/AFTRA and his IMDb will reveal that he's been a  lead in several feature and short films including performing two voiceover roles for Open Eye Pictures' documentary short,  "American Justice on Trial," which made the 2023  Academy Awards short-list.

NJ has and continues to sharpen and add to his arsenal with trainings from Studio24, Leslie Khan, Groundlings, and T. Schreiber to name a few.

Already a business owner, NJ founded FNC Chill Productions and partnered up with his best friend Anthony, after receiving advice from mentors to not only audition, but produce his own content. This lead to the creation of "Feystrom," "Demon Interrupted," and the multi-award winning short film "RESET."   

Anthony
Bretting (CFO)

Managing Partner/Actor/Producer
Anthony Bretting, also a California native, not only runs a department for an Investment Firm, but he's also a gifted actor and producer that has an incredible ability to bring out the best in others.  

Not only were they best friends beforehand, Anthony's business and financial skills frees NJ to focus on the creative side of FNC Chill Productions... providing a perfect balance.  He also shares his desire to build a production company that not only creates great artistic content, but provides opportunity for others in the industry to utilize their skills. 

Anthony has a thirst for knowledge and continues to work on perfecting his acting talents through continuing education.

Anthony lives in Sacramento and is a "Dog Dad" to Flare, his beautiful Siberian Husky.

Moshiu T.
Knox II (COO)

   Managing Partner/Actor/Producer
Moshiu T. Knox II was raised in Cleveland, Mississippi. He received a B.A. in Social Sciences from the USAF Academy, has an MBA, and is currently serving his community as an Active Duty Officer.

Moshiu is a SAG/AFTRA Eligible actor with over 5 years of experience; he’s also a media producer, musician, streamer, and writer. He's had roles in “Whirlpool,"  “Bit,” and “Feystrom.” Weekly, you can find him on his very own series, "Unserious," where he keeps you up to date with today's current events. He also has a number of songs that he’s created on Soundcloud.

Moshiu, like his business partners, attended Studio24 where he trained to sharpen his acting craft and deepened his love for the TV/Film industry.

Moshiu brings to FNC Chill Productions, his experience, talents, and drive to create great projects and provide an opportunity for others on both sides of the camera.  

Jim
Last (CTO)

Managing Partner/Actor/Producer
Jim Last was born and raised in Green Bay, WI. After moving around the country several times during his teen years, he eventually earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and moved to Sacramento. 

Jim discovered his affinity for acting in 2019 after taking an Intro to TV/Film Acting course at Studio24 in Folsom. He has since performed in several theatrical, commercial, and industrial projects, as well as local theater productions. 

Jim has made many great friends during his acting journey and is excited to be working with them at FNC Chill Productions. 

Jim currently lives in Rancho Cordova with his two sons and dog, Missy.

Anne-Marie
Olsen (CCO)

Managing Partner/Actor/Writer/Producer
Anne-Marie Olsen was born in Los Angeles. Her acting career began in musical theatre as a teen and Shakespeare productions. 

Anne-Marie has now appeared in television, both independent and feature films, industrial training videos and commercials. 

Anne-Marie has also written several screenplay shorts and one feature. She not only starred in FNC Chill Production's feature film "Feystrom," but was a contributing writer. Anne-Marie also was the creator of "Melting ICE," which she also co-written with NJ Brown, Cheryl Bealer-Wynton, and Rob Steacy.

Anne-Marie loves the industry and helping to discover new upcoming talent to showcase in FNC's projects. 


Melissa
Hojman

Director/Writer/Production
Melissa Hojman started off acting in middle school. In her senior year, she joined California Voices, which brought her attention to directing and cinematography.

Melissa went off to college and received two AA degrees in film at CRC and a BA in Cinema Studies at SFSU. 

Melissa has an extreme passion for making films. She's also worked on shows from TLC, ABC, NBC. HGTV, FOX, and many more. FNC Chill Productions' "Feystrom" was her first time as an Assistant Director.

Melissa's recent script, "Not so Real Housewives of Sacramento," was selected as a winner for PCS. . 

Taylor
Ashley

Cinematographer/Editor 
Taylor Ashley was born in Munich, Germany but raised in California and has been close friends with Anthony since Highschool.

Taylor is a gifted cinematographer and editor with more than a decade of experience in live event production. 

Taylor's ability to produce beautiful imagery on the fly and in a variety of lighting conditions give him a unique advantage in the filmmaking world. “Demon Interrupted”, his first project with FNC Chill Productions, is currently in production and scheduled for completion in 2023.

Taylor enjoys being part of the FNC team!  

Evan
Teed

 Cinematographer/Editor/SFX 
Evan Teed was born in Lodi, CA and after taking a videography class in high school out of curiosity, he decided to pursue it more in college and quickly discovered his love for visual story telling, which turned into a passionate filmmaking career behind the camera and in editing spanning over a decade. 

 Evan has worked on a variety of shows such as,  The Voice," "Ghost Adventures," and even produced promotional content for Ford which has lead to his aspirations to becoming a cinematographer. 

Evan started out assisting FNC as a PA on Feystrom, then to assisting the camera department, and now a key member of its production team as an editor and SFX Engineer. 

Jennifer
Berry

Actor/BTS/Photographer/Administration
Jennifer Berry is an actress and photographer. She began her career in Musical Theatre at the age of 10, which she would later earn a degree in. 

Jennifer moved to New York City and after 5 years decided to transition to TV & Film and returned to her home state of California.  Here she met NJ and Anthony while taking an acting class and was thrilled to be a part of their first feature film Feystrom.

Jennifer loves the acting industry and is passionate about helping cultivate community and art within it.


Dylan
Peshek

Cinematography/Sound Engineer
Dylan Peshek is a filmmaker based in Sacramento California with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Film Production.

Dylan specializes in cinematography, but has worked in all aspects of film from directing to producing and has had a wide variety of film set experiences. His favorite part about being a filmmaker is the creative process and watching the development of a project go from concept to production. 

Dylan worked as 2nd Camera on the FNC Production “Feystrom” and most recently Sound Mixer for “Demon Interrupted.”

Dylan's excited to be part of the FNC Family.

Jeff
Poindexter

 Cinematographer/Photographer/Production
Jeff Poindexter's originally from Grapevine, TX . From his youth had a passion for film. After years of studying the craft of filmmaking, including acting in front of the camera which he enjoyed tremendously, he has gone on to be a part of several major productions in the area. 

Jeff is a digital creator that has part of the FNC Chill Production's crew in "Feystrom", but he is quick to jump in and bring his creative talents to other FNC projects.

Jeff has a keen eye which you can see on his Instagram and has also dived into directing and editing several local projects.
